Microsoft warns Windows 10 users to update immediately
Microsoft is giving a red alert warning to all Windows 10 users to update their operating systems (OS) immediately because of two critical vulnerabilities.
The company, in a blog post, said that the two "critical" vulnerabilities are potentially "wormable," meaning affected computers could spread viruses and malware without any action on the user's part and hackers could use them to spread malware from one machine to another without any interaction from the user.
Users with Windows 10 automatic updates enabled are already protected. For those who have set their system to update manually, you can search for the patch by typing "Windows Update" in the search bar from the system's start menu search bar.

Simon Pope, Microsoft's director of Incident Response said "It is important that affected systems are patched as quickly as possible because of the elevated risks associated with wormable vulnerabilities like these."
"Customers who have automatic updates enabled are automatically protected by these fixes," Pope added.
The vulnerabilities are only present in Windows 10, which is the latest OS running million devices today. Older operating systems, such as Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8, are not affected.
