Hanna has maintained its strength and it is now approaching the southern Ryukyu islands.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) #1 over the Babuyan Group of Islands has been lifted. However, the outer rainbands of "HANNA" and the Southwest Monsoon will bring light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains and gusty winds over Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands tonight and tomorrow (09 August). (TROPICAL CYCLONE: WARNING ISSUED AT 5:00 PM, 08 August 2019).


HANNA” is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between late evening today and tomorrow early morning.
