Conduct of Synchronized Automated SSG/SPG Elections for SY 2020-2021

Pursuant to Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 47, s. 2014 entitled “Constitution and By-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Governments (SSG) in Elementary and Secondary Schools” and DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2016 entitled “Additional Guidelines to DepEd Order No. 47 s. 2014, the Synchronized SSG/SPG Elections for SY 2020-2021 will be conducted on February 14, 2020.
According to Alain Del Pascua, Undersecretary for Administration ⋅ Deped, the conduct of the Synchronized Supreme Pupil/Student Government (SPG/SSG) Elections for SY 2020-2021 is not one of the activities/events suspended by DepEd Memo No. 15, series 2020.
"The schedule of the elections of the Supreme Pupil/Student Government (SPG/SSG) Synchronized Election shall proceed as scheduledin OUA Memo No. 01-0120-0609, dated January 30, 2020. It is not one of the activities/events suspended by DepEd Memo No. 15, series 2020," Pascua posted DepEd Workplace.
"The schedule of the elections of the Supreme Pupil/Student Government (SPG/SSG) Synchronized Election shall proceed as scheduledin OUA Memo No. 01-0120-0609, dated January 30, 2020. It is not one of the activities/events suspended by DepEd Memo No. 15, series 2020," Pascua posted DepEd Workplace.
The schedule of the elections of the SSPG/SSG Synchronized Election shall proceed as scheduled in OUA Memo No. 01-0120-0609, dated January 30, 2020.
Pascua also mentioned that, the Information and Communications Technology Service, in coordination with Youth Formation Division, have released the Supreme Pupil/Student Government Automated Election System (SPG/SSG-AES).
The Undersecretary mentioned that the SPG/SSG-AES (Automated Election System) and its installation and user guides may be downloaded from bit.ly/DepEd-SPSGES. The said AEG can also be downloaded at the end of this post.
Pascua also mentioned that, the Information and Communications Technology Service, in coordination with Youth Formation Division, have released the Supreme Pupil/Student Government Automated Election System (SPG/SSG-AES).
The Undersecretary mentioned that the SPG/SSG-AES (Automated Election System) and its installation and user guides may be downloaded from bit.ly/DepEd-SPSGES. The said AEG can also be downloaded at the end of this post.
As stated in the memorandum, all schools are encouraged to use the Automated Election System developed in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Service (ICTS). Regional and Division Information Technology Officers and Youth Formation Coordinators shall work together to ensure the smooth implementation of the election.
