Taytay Councilor Papoo Cruz announced through a Facebook post that President Duterte has declared February 20 as a local holiday in the whole municipality of Taytay for the celebation of HaMaKa festival.
"Abangers! Assemble!Ü Eto na! Holiday na sa buong Taytay sa Feb.17,2020 (Monday) dahil sa Presidential Proclamation 903," said Cruz.
"Napagbigyan po ulit ang Resolution natin requesting President Duterte to declare the 3rd Monday of Feb as a Special Non-Working Day sa Taytay in celebration of the HaMaKa Festival." the councilor added.
