Pag-IBIG Fund, on DZMM radio interview on Tuesday said it was working to provide calamity loan of at least P20,000 for every qualified member to help members affected by corona virus (COVID-19) quarantine.

At present, the calamity loans must be filed personally in Pag-IBIG offices according to CEO Acmad Rizaldy Moti in a radio interview.
The chief also said that the Pag-IBIG Fund is considering an enhanced online application process. Any new guidelines will be disseminated to the public.
"Kailangan ng pirma ng employers, work from home na din. Inaaral natin 'yan ngayon," said Moti.
The declaration of a state of calamity in some areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic triggered availability of the loan facility for Pag-IBIG members there, he added.
"Basta po na declare na may state of calamity, 'yung calamity loan program namin ay nati-trigger," said Moti.
President Duterte earlier placed the entire Luzon on an Enhanced Community Quarantine and the Stringent Social Distancing Measures over the entire Luzon, effective midnight of March 17, 2020 to midnight of April 13, 2020.
