Walang Pasok: Class cancellations for March 9 to 11 admid Covid-19 threat

(Update as of March 9, 2020, 10:40 AM) - Several schools and areas announced class cancellations from Monday to Wednesday, March 9 to 11 after the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the first case of local transmission of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-2019) which raised the alert level of the outbreak to Code Red level 1.

President Rodrigo Duterte declared a nationwide state of public health emergency due to the number of confirmed cases of COVID-2019 continued to increase. 

COVID-19 Alert System to Code Red – Sub-level 1 means that there is anticipation of “possible sustained community transmission” of the disease.

Here are the schools and areas where classes have been suspended as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
