DepEd Secretary Briones positive for COVID-19
The Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor M. Briones tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), her office announced Thursday.
In a statement released by the DepEd, Sec. Briones said that she received her covid-19 test results late afternoon of April 8.
"I remain asymptomatic. My body temperature, which is taken three times a day, remains normal,” said Briones.
"I am going in isolation.” the secretary said.
