DepEd starts releasing PBB 2018
The Department of Education (DepEd) on Wednesday, April 8, started crediting the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for FY 2018 of eligible school-based personnel in the department.
As of this posting, we received some information that some schools in Region XII already received their PBB for FY 2018.
This is already a good sign that PBB 2018 is real. If you have not receive it yet, just wait patiently. You will surely be the next to receive.
Let us trust our government, especially the DepEd exhausting all means to provide all benefits and salaries of its personnel amid the public health crisis brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Deped in a statement explained that PBB is “a top-up incentive given to government personnel of bureaus or delivery unit in accordance to their contribution to the accomplishment of their department’s overall targets and commitments.”
The AO25 Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), according to DepED, has set in place “specific conditions and reviews the agency’s compliance and accomplishments within a fiscal year to determine the eligibility of the agency and its personnel to receive PBB,”
DepEd said the IATF “has decided to grant the PBB 2018 for teaching and non-teaching school-based personnel in all elementary and secondary schools nationwide” subject to the submission of DepEd’s school level set of comprehensive performance indicators.
