IATF recommends ECQ to continue in several areas says Roque

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MED) according to Presidential Spokesperson recommended a second extension of the enhanced community quarantine until May 15 in areas considered high risk.

Harry Roque said Enhanced Community Quarantine, shall remain Metro Manila, Region III, IV-A and other areas where COVID-19 infection is high (ECQ). 

The IATF, according to Roque recommends that Enhanced Community Quarantine will continue in several areas including National Capital Region until May 15, 2020.

Enhanced Community Quarantine is extended in the following areas until May 15:

National Capital Region
Benguet
Pangasinan
Central Luzon (except Aurora)
CALABARZON
Mindoro
Albay
Catanduanes

Antique
Iloilo
Cebu
Davao Del Sur

New Normal or General Community Quarantine in the following areas:
LUZON
Abra
Ilocos Norte
La Union
Cagayan
Isabela
Nueva Vizcaya
Marinduque
CamSur

VISAYAS
Aklan
Capiz
Samar

MINDANAO
Zamboanga Del Sur
Misamis Provinces
North Cotabato
South Cotabato
Maguindanao
