Suggested opening of classes: August-September
A lawmaker urged the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Technical Education and Skills, Development Authority (TESDA) and the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) to postpone the opening of classes in June to August or September due to severe health threats of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Tulfo also said that the Brigad Eskwela will not be enough to ensure that every school will be ready, disinfected and safe for use by June.
