GSIS refunds March loan deductions
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has already started the refund for March 2020 loan deductions due to moratorium to its members. As of this posting, several Schools Division Offices already processed the release of the said refund.
GSIS earlier announced that the deduction in their salary made in March amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation will be returned to them soon.
"Refund for March 2020 loan amortization due to moratorium will be done on a massive scale by our Central Office, thus there is no need to file for this," said source.
"It will be credited to individual members account. However as of this writing, processing is still ongoing and E-crediting of refunds is scheduled starting next week by batch." We appeal for our members to extend their patince on this matter," it added.
“I'm sure maraming nagtatanong, ‘yung payroll ng March medyo na-deduct-an na po. Ginagawan po namin ng paraan. Kaunting pasensya lang, ibabalik namin sa inyo,” said Macasaet in an interview.
